A fantastic opportunity has arisen for our location in Saint Barth.
Following another successful season, our Food & Beverage team is looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and service-driven Sommelier to join the family at Restaurant Al Mare, located at Le Sereno.
The contract will start in November 2026 and end in August 2027.
This is a full-time position based at Le Sereno, St. Barths, with accommodation provided. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays is required.
What you'll do
As our Sommelier, you'll play a key role in creating unforgettable dining experiences for our guests.
You will:
- Take full responsibility for the wine cellar, ensuring every bottle is stored, maintained, and presented to the highest standards.
- Curate and continuously develop our wine list, selecting exceptional labels while keeping the selection aligned with the philosophy and identity of our restaurant.
- Guide guests through the wine selection, recommending thoughtful pairings that perfectly complement our Michelin-starred cuisine and delivering an elegant, personalized service.
- Lead, support, and inspire the Assistant Sommelier and the restaurant team, sharing your expertise and passion for wine through daily coaching and training.
- Organize and host wine tastings and exclusive wine events, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
- Continuously expand your knowledge through study, professional development, and close relationships with leading wineries, producers, and sommeliers.
