What You Can Expect

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pricing Specialist to join our team. As a Pricing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our pricing strategies, managing pricing systems and processes, and ensuring accuracy and consistency in pricing across Zimmer Biomet in EMEA focusing on the Italian Market. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Tender Teams, to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional with a passion for pricing and operational excellence.

Compensation:

The compensation indicated in this job posting represents the minimum annual salary for the position. Final remuneration will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, in accordance with applicable EU pay transparency and pay equity requirements.

Applicable CCNL: National Collective Labour Agreement for employees of companies in the Tertiary, Distribution and Services sectors – CNEL code H011
Minimum annual salary: 28,982.00€

Variable Pay: In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include bonuses, benefits, and other incentives. Your recruiter will discuss these elements with you during the recruitment process.

Public Price Indexation

On a Daily Basis You Will

Communication with Public Customers and Price Analysis

Collect and organize Tender pricing documentation.
Formalize deals with Public Customers ensuring compliance with Zimmer Biomet pricing policies.
Manage price indexation activities for Public Customers, assessing contractual and tender provisions to identify opportunities for price increases in accordance with applicable regulations and contractual terms.
Prepare and submit price indexation requests, coordinating with internal stakeholders and monitoring the approval process until completion
Maintain accurate documentation of indexation requests, outcomes, and supporting evidence.
Build effective relationships with Public Customers and internal teams to facilitate the successful execution of price indexation initiatives.
Create dashboards of Pricing KPIs to measure pricing performance and instill a culture of analysis, learning and improvement
Monitor sales data, run analyses, track changes in pricing data and quantify impact of price, volume and mix into price variances

Pricing Ops

Maintain pricing conditions in SAP by creating new prices and implementing pricing adjustments.
Manage Pricing Master Data, including data cleansing activities (obsolete, inactive, or restricted products) and validation of pricing inputs.
Maintain and continuously improve pricing systems, tools, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient pricing execution.
Monitor pricing-related processes in SAP, identify any issues or discrepancies, and resolve them efficiently
Regularly review and update pricing information in the system, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all channels and platforms
Ensure compliance with pricing policies, thresholds of pricing approval escalation process, legal requirements, and industry regulations
Monitor and enforce pricing controls and procedures to prevent pricing errors
Collaborate with other teams to define and implement pricing rules, guidelines, and procedures

What Makes You Stand Out

Experience in pricing-related operations, preferably within the MedTech or healthcare industry.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal command of English.
Experience working with SAP and pricing/configuration tools (e.g., CPQ) is considered a strong advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with master data

Your Background

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Knowledge of SAP and CPQ is preferred.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex structures and datasets
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Team player with a high degree of flexibility and responsiveness
Proactive, solution-oriented, and a "can-do" mindset.
Persistence and resilience in managing long and complex administrative processes
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and follow up on activities requiring extensive coordination.
