Aeronautic Structural Engineer:
TXT e-Tech, a company of the TXT Group, is looking for an Aeronautic Structural Engineer to support the Engineering team in managing technical issues related to structural damages on the in-service fleet within the Aerospace sector.
The resource will contribute to structural assessment, analysis and repair activities, ensuring compliance with applicable civil and military airworthiness requirements.
Main responsibilities:
Contribute to restoring helicopters to an airworthy condition
Evaluate detected damages and analyze helicopter configuration
Review technical and certification documentation
Design structural repair drawings
Perform structural analyses through hand calculations and FEM simulations
Prepare certification documentation for civil and military customers
Update the Helicopter Structural Repair Manual
Required technical skills:
Experience in static structural assessment
Knowledge of Damage Tolerance and Fatigue Analysis methodologies
Experience with hand calculations and FEM analyses
Ability to analyze technical drawings
Knowledge of CAD/CATIA and Hypermesh tools
Optional technical skills:
Knowledge of aeronautical materials (metals and composite materials)
Knowledge of aerospace assembly methods (riveting, adhesive bonding, curing, etc.)
Basic knowledge of civil aviation regulations (EASA)
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
