We have managed this because the Elica Group is now in a class of its own in the market thanks to its experience, attention to design, refinement in the use of materials and its interest in state-of-the-art technologies that guarantee maximum efficiency and energy savings. The Company has been active since the 1970s under the chairmanship of Francesco Casoli. Over 3000 employees play their part in helping us produce about 17 million items a year between hoods and electric motors. Our production platform centres around five countries including Italy, Poland, Mexico, India and China and makes us the outright leaders in the world in the sector of hoods and among the leaders in Europe in the design, production and distribution of electric motors for hoods and heating system boilers.
We are currently in the process of recruiting a candidate to cover a position of Plant Quality Manager.
THE IMPACT: S/He guarantees that quality standards are applied in the reference plant, ensuring products are compliant and in conformity with said standards.
MAIN ACTIVITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Ensure that products meet the requirements and specifications laid down during the product development phase;

Ensure the execution of audits on modified components;

Ensure the enforcement of process standards sponsoring their improvements (eg. compliance to work instructions, quality control, business cycles);

Ensure the performance of the Non-Conformity management process;

Ensure the management of the plant’s measuring instruments (eg. Calibration);

Maintain the quality management system in the reference plant;

Ensure, together with the HR and the Industrial depts., that the coordinated areas deliver as described in their mission and in line with Group objectives and strategies;

Ensure that the team possesses the appropriate skills to meet business needs, bridging any gaps through targeted training;

Create an environment that encourages communication, delegation, management by objectives and accountability in daily work.
