Mandarin Oriental Cristallo, Cortina is an upcoming luxury alpine resort set above the iconic mountain town of Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the heart of the UNESCO-listed Dolomites. Scheduled to open in Winter 2026, this landmark property will feature 83 elegantly appointed guestrooms and suites, many offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Blending the historic charm of the legendary Cristallo Hotel with Mandarin Oriental's legendary service and contemporary luxury, the resort will offer exceptional restaurants and bars, refined event spaces, and a world-class Spa & Wellness sanctuary with extensive wellness facilities. Guests will enjoy an unparalleled alpine experience throughout the year, including skiing, hiking, mountain biking, climbing and wellness retreats, establishing the resort as one of Europe's most prestigious mountain destinations.
Role Summary
As Digital Marketing Executive at Mandarin Oriental Cristallo, Cortina, you will support the execution of the resort's digital marketing strategy throughout the pre-opening phase and ongoing operations. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be responsible for managing digital content, social media channels, website updates, CRM campaigns and online marketing initiatives to strengthen brand awareness, drive engagement and support commercial performance. Working closely with Corporate Digital Marketing and the Commercial team, you will ensure all digital touchpoints reflect the exceptional standards and luxury positioning of Mandarin Oriental.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Opening Responsibilities
- Support the execution of the digital marketing strategy for the pre-opening of Mandarin Oriental Cristallo, Cortina.
- Coordinate the creation and publication of pre-opening digital content across all relevant platforms.
- Assist in the launch of the resort's website, ensuring content accuracy, brand consistency and SEO optimisation.
- Prepare digital assets, photography and video content in collaboration with Corporate Marketing and external agencies.
- Support the implementation of CRM campaigns and database-building initiatives ahead of opening.
- Coordinate with Revenue, Sales, PR and Marketing teams to promote pre-opening campaigns and launch milestones.
- Assist in tracking digital performance and preparing regular reporting during the pre-opening phase.
Digital Marketing
- Manage and update website content in accordance with Mandarin Oriental brand standards.
- Plan, schedule and publish engaging content across the resort's social media platforms.
- Coordinate digital campaigns to support rooms, restaurants, spa, events and seasonal promotions.
- Assist in developing content calendars aligned with the resort's commercial and marketing objectives.
- Support SEO, SEM and paid digital advertising initiatives in collaboration with Corporate Digital Marketing and external agencies.
- Monitor online trends and identify opportunities to enhance digital visibility and guest engagement.
- Produce compelling digital content including copywriting, photography briefs, short-form videos and newsletters.
CRM & Performance Marketing
- Support the execution of email marketing and CRM campaigns.
- Maintain customer databases in compliance with company standards and data privacy regulations.
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on website traffic, social media engagement, email performance and digital ROI.
- Analyse campaign results and recommend optimisation opportunities.
Brand & Content Management
- Ensure all digital content is consistent with Mandarin Oriental's brand guidelines, tone of voice and visual identity.
- Collaborate with PR, Sales, Revenue, Spa, Food & Beverage and Operations to promote key experiences and campaigns.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, designers and creative agencies to develop high-quality digital assets.
- Monitor online reputation and support the management of guest reviews and digital brand presence when required.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Digital Marketing, preferably within luxury hospitality, luxury retail or premium lifestyle brands.
- Previous pre-opening experience is considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including social media, CRM, SEO, SEM and content marketing.
- Experience managing websites and Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Excellent copywriting and content creation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience using Google Analytics and digital reporting tools.
- Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and luxury brand communication.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Italian is essential; additional languages are considered an advantage.

Compensation:
€30,000 – €35,000 Gross Annual Salary (RAL)
