POSTING PRESENTATION:
You will be a contributor to the STMicroelectronics manufacturing facility since its start-up, by ensuring adequate first-level technical support within Production team activities.
In order to understand and learn the specificities of manufacturing and its process flow, You will undergo a Training on the Job activity, a portion of which could be performed, for around 3 months, in STMicroelectronics site abroad (Sweden)
Main assignments for Your position in your working shift will be the following:
Execute periodical checks and/or ordinary maintenance or basic calibrations tasks (so called TPM = Total Productive Maintenance) on a given set of process equipment
Contribute to equipment qualification after maintenance
Help process engineering team with preparation of samples or experiments
Make quality checks on the materials in production, to make sure the quality standards are kept.
Perform acceptance inspection at checkpoints in the process flow to verify that the products are compliant with specifications.
Take action to stop production processes, after alerting shift supervisor, if deviations related to equipment errors or materials defectiveness are discovered.
Execute first level of troubleshooting and intervention in case of equipment failure or process drift and properly address the issue to maintenance or process/shift engineers
Train/Coach operators new for a process step or in case of procedural changes.
Help the Production supervisor in organizing the activities for the shift in his area and to monitor them.
Execute standard operator’s tasks (materials preparation for process, equipment load/unload, basic check) or more complex, based on shift supervisor’s inputs.
Be a contact point of production team to process engineering and maintenance in his work shift.
PROFILE REQUIRED:
- Education and experience level:
High school technical diploma High school technical diploma (electronics, mechanics, mechatronics, or scientific gymnasium in science (physics, chemistry) ,with > 2 years experience as expert operator or technician, OR
Bachelor’s degree in scientific domains
Skills and competences:
- Good competences and knowledge, theoretical and practical, in first level troubleshooting of complex equipment failure and process deviations.
- Good Analysis and synthesis and reporting capabilities
- Experience as tutor or trainer of junior colleagues is a plus
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite
- Results orientation
- Good communication skills
- Teamworking
- Ability to work under pressure, as issues have to be troubleshooted in the shortest time
- Availability to work on shifts
