Join our team in Sicily and play a vital role in powering the region’s future. You’ll lead hands-on diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on high-voltage direct current (HVDC), Synchronous Condenser, and renewable energy assets. As the on-site technical expert, you’ll tackle complex challenges, coordinate service projects, and build trusted relationships with customers. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance on high-voltage systems, always following strict safety and manufacturer protocols.
- Commission, test, and validate new installations or repairs to ensure top performance and compliance.
- Act as the lead technical expert on-site, making sure all work meets quality, EHS, and regulatory standards.
- Manage service projects and work orders from start to finish, keeping customers informed and projects on track.
- Prepare clear service reports and support junior technicians or contractors, sharing your expertise and helping the team grow.
What You Bring
- At least 7 years of field service experience with high-voltage power systems.
- You hold a higher education qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
- You possess CEI 11-27 (PES/PAV) or equivalent certification, a valid driver’s license, Fgas certification, and first aid and fire safety certificates.
- You are skilled in troubleshooting, power electronics, reading electrical schematics, and managing HV/MV equipment and systems.
- You communicate clearly and fluently in English and Italian.
- Available to travel as needed within Sicily.
