Tenuta Golo is a boutique winery and luxury agriturismo in the heart of Montepulciano. We produce small quantities of premium Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and welcome guests from around the world for wine tastings and authentic wine experiences.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on professional to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our winery while also helping deliver an exceptional guest experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to work in a small, high-quality winery where no two days are the same.
Main Responsibilities
Winery Operations
- Day-to-day management of the cellar.
- Monitoring wines during ageing.
- Cellar hygiene and equipment maintenance.
- Stock management of wine, dry goods and packaging materials.
- Organising bottling operations with external suppliers.
- Assisting our consulting winemakers during the annual production
- Liaising with our consulting oenologists and agronomist.
Administration
- Preparing invoices and delivery notes.
- Managing winery records and stock movements.
- Updating REGISTRI.WINE and SIAN records.
- Coordinating shipments with transport companies.
- Maintaining supplier and customer records.
Hospitality
- Conducting wine tastings in English and Italian.
- Welcoming visitors to the winery.
- Explaining our wines, vineyards and production methods.
- Assisting with wine sales.
Vineyard
- Monitoring vineyard operations together with our agronomist.
- Leading harvest and coordinating seasonal work and harvest logistics.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience working in a winery or cellar.
- Is organised and enjoys taking responsibility.
- Is comfortable using computer systems and administrative software.
- Speaks fluent Italian and good conversational English.
- Enjoys meeting people from around the world.
- Is practical, flexible and willing to help wherever needed.
- Holds a driving and tractor licence.
Experience with REGISTRI.WINE, SIAN, winery administration and export documentation is essential.
