IT PMO Lead
The IT PMO Lead is responsible for driving the governance, performance, and strategic alignment of the IT project portfolio. Acting as the key link between business and IT, this role oversees project intake, prioritization, resource planning, and delivery performance to ensure that initiatives support organizational strategy and digital transformation goals.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and maintain governance processes for the entire IT project portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal frameworks and industry standards
- Manage the IT Portfolio Committee (IPC) process, including structured demand intake, validation, prioritization, and decision support
- Oversee project intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and portfolio
- Provide consistent, transparent reporting to business and IT leadership on project status, risks, financials, and outcomes
- Ensure smooth transition from project approval to execution, including baselining scope, schedules, resources, KPIs, and reviews
- Monitor delivery progress, risks, and scope alignment; resolve blockers and escalate critical issues when needed
- Maintain alignment with ISMS, risk, compliance, architecture, and security standards in all documentation and processes
- Serve as the operational link between business stakeholders, DIT leadership, and delivery teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Drive continuous improvement of intake quality, governance efficiency, reporting transparency, and portfolio management practices
- Deliver training on IPC processes, governance standards, and PPM tools to improve data quality and organizational capability
Our requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in IT project management, PMO leadership, or technology governance
- Proven track record in managing enterprise-wide IT portfolios and projects
- Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile)
- Proficiency in MS Project, Clarity, ASANA, or any other relevant project management tool
- Strong understanding of IT governance, compliance, and risk management
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferred
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with digital transformation, business process management, and emerging technologies
