TXT e-Tech is looking for an Avionic Test Engineer. In the Aerospace & Aviation division, more specifically in the area of avionic systems integration, professional positions are sought for systems activities, avionic integration and testing.
The candidate will be expected to develop and execute procedures and test sequences on low-level and high-level code for software validation of an avionics system, based on system specifications and requirements. In addition, the resource will participate, along with the rest of the team, in activities required to obtain device certification.
Main responsibilities:
Contribute to the analysis of system requirements, evaluating their consistency, completeness and testability
Prepare and update, within the assigned scope of responsibility, Avionics Integration Test Procedures
Perform avionics integration activities during both dry-run phases and formal verification activities, executing the related tests
Analyze issues detected during integration and aircraft activities, actively contributing to problem management, reproduction and resolution processes
Produce the documentation and evidence required to support the qualification process for the assigned functions
Skills you already have:
Knowledge of avionics systems;
Knowledge of the principles of requirements engineering;
Knowledge of one or more scripting languages;
Good knowledge of testing methods.
Optional Skills:
Ability to use laboratory instrumentation (Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Signal Generator);
Knowledge of major protocols typical of avionics systems (ARINC 429, MIL-STD 1553, Serial Protocol, etc.).
Required Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Computer Engineering.
