Ruolo: Data Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to contribute to data engineering initiatives focused on building reliable data pipelines, scalable data models, ingestion and transformation workflows, and the platform foundations that power analytics and machine learning across the organization.
In this role, you will work with large-scale customer, product, content, and media data to design and operate the pipelines and data assets that make this data accessible, trustworthy, and ready for analysis.
You will collaborate with technical data analysts, data engineers, machine learning engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders within domain-aligned vertical teams, across the full lifecycle of data engineering projects, from requirements gathering and design to ingestion, transformation, orchestration, quality assurance, and ongoing reliability. Our toolkit is built on GCP, with BigQuery, Dataflow, and Airflow at its core.

Understand business requirements and translate into technical deliverables

Produce deliverables that follow the development standards and principles, on time

Produce a detailed breakdown of development tasks on projects

Adhere to the end to end change process and apply necessary rigour in a timely manner

Collaborate extensively within the Data Platform & Analytics team and provide technical & domain input

Assist with the mentoring of associate engineers and colleagues during the project lifecycle
Il tuo profilo:

A good experience in data products, technologies and architectures

Proficient programmer (Java, Scala or Python)

Proficiency in database/data query languages such as SQL/NoSQL

Proven experience on cloud based solutions

Data analytics, specifically in taking a data-centric view of quality and reliability

An enthusiasm for new tools and methods to help shape the culture in data analytics

Ability to adapt to technological and business priority changes

Ability to 'think outside the box' to come up with pragmatic solutions to risks and issues

An understanding of data structures and optimisations and how they fit in a distributed system, aggregating, transforming and developing suitable data models and processing large unstructured data sets
Cosa offriamo:
For the Private Radio and Television Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL), the starting salary is from: €40,000
Contract type: Permanent contract
The actual compensation will be commensurate with experience and specific skills.
The role is also eligible for the annual incentive scheme.
