MSC Technology is looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join its IT organization and support teams working on integration platforms enabling data exchange between MSC and external clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile delivery, supporting the Scrum process and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software increments at the end of each sprint.
Working closely with Product Owners, Product Specialists, Developers, Testers, Agile Coaches, Architects, and other stakeholders, the Scrum Master will foster effective collaboration, remove obstacles, and help the team continuously improve its ways of working.
This role is ideal for professionals with a strong Agile mindset, solid experience in IT projects and team coordination, and the ability to operate effectively in complex, distributed, and multicultural environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and Agile practices, ensuring effective participation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Support the analysis and refinement of user stories, working closely with Product Owners and Product Specialists to ensure requirements are clear, actionable, and aligned with delivery objectives.
- Foster a collaborative, transparent, and mutually respectful working environment across Developers, Testers, Product Specialists, Product Owners, and other team members.
- Support the team in delivering high-quality software increments at the end of each sprint, promoting ownership, accountability, and adherence to Agile principles.
- Identify, anticipate, and help remove impediments and delivery risks, leveraging strong problem-solving skills and previous project experience.
- Act as a key point of coordination between the Scrum team and program stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate, and constructive communication.
- Promote Agile best practices and support the team in continuously improving processes, collaboration, delivery effectiveness, and ways of working.
- Stay up to date with trends and innovations across Agile, software development, DevOps, middleware, and IT delivery practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in IT projects, including at least 1 year of experience coordinating team members, with solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
- Strong understanding of Scrum principles, ceremonies, roles, and practices, combined with a genuine Agile mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
- Previous experience as a Scrum Master is highly valued, with 3+ years in the role considered a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of scaled and distributed Scrum environments and other Agile methodologies and practices such as Lean and Kanban is considered an advantage.
- Scrum Master and/or Product Owner certifications are considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and experience working on large-scale or distributed projects involving offshore teams are considered an advantage.
- Understanding of Agile software engineering practices such as TDD, BDD, Unit Testing, and familiarity with .NET and Microsoft technologies is considered an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within multicultural and distributed environments.

The position will be classified within the Employee category, at one of the C2, C3, B1 or B2 levels under the Italian Metalworking Industry National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria).
The classification level and any additional remuneration components supplementing the base salary will be determined based on an assessment, carried out during the selection process, of objective and neutral criteria such as, by way of example, the candidate’s professional experience, technical skills, level of autonomy and the responsibilities required by the role.
