Italdesign is looking for a Cloud Engineer to join the IT Team.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and structured professional with strong technical expertise in cloud environments, capable of designing, implementing and managing scalable, secure and efficient infrastructures in a dynamic and evolving context.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing and managing cloud and hybrid infrastructures ensuring scalability, security and resilience;

Supporting the evolution of IT infrastructure towards cloud-native and hybrid models;

Ensuring reliability, performance and availability of cloud platforms;

Optimizing cloud resource usage and costs through FinOps practices;
-
Supporting application development and system integration leveraging cloud platforms;

Driving automation and standardization of infrastructure and operations processes;

Supporting migration and re-platforming of applications and workloads into cloud environments;

Monitoring systems performance, availability and security;

Implementing and maintaining cloud security best practices;

Collaborating with internal teams (IT, Development) and external vendors.
Key requirements

At least 5 years ofproven experience in cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure roles;

Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform);

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation);
-
Good knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes);

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps);

Solid understanding of cloud networking (VPC/VNet, load balancers, security groups);

Knowledge of cloud security principles (IAM, encryption, Zero Trust);

Experience with monitoring and observability tools (logs, metrics, alerting);

Analytical mindset and ability to manage complex technical environments;

Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferential requirements

Experience in cloud transformation or migration projects;

Knowledge of FinOps methodologies and cost optimization strategies;

Experience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments;

Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies;

Certifications on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) are considered a plus;

Experience with advanced automation and scripting.
Education: Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory. Italian is a plus
