We are looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager who can lead high performing engineering teams while driving technical innovation across multiple product lines. This is not just a people management role. You will shape engineering strategy, improve development processes, and help scale systems used by thousands of business users globally. You will work closely with Product, Design, Infrastructure, and Executive Leadership teams to deliver reliable and elegant software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Leadership:
Lead and mentor Software Engineers, Team Leads, and cross functional development teams across multiple projects and product initiatives.
Technical Strategy:
Drive architectural decisions, scalability planning, and long term engineering improvements that support company growth and product reliability.
Project Delivery:
Oversee software development lifecycles, sprint planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelines while maintaining high engineering standards.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with Product Managers, UX teams, and Infrastructure teams to align technical execution with business goals and customer needs.
Process Optimization:
Improve CI CD pipelines, testing practices, development workflows, and operational efficiency across engineering departments.
Stakeholder Communication:
Present technical roadmaps, project updates, and engineering priorities to executive leadership and business stakeholders in a clear and structured manner.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years managing engineering teams in a fast paced technology environment.
Leadership Skills:
Strong experience mentoring engineering teams, managing performance, and building collaborative engineering cultures focused on accountability and growth.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of backend systems, cloud infrastructure, APIs, distributed systems, and scalable application architecture.
Development Knowledge:
Hands on experience with modern programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go.
Communication Skills:
Italian and English professional communication skills are highly preferred for collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.
Mindset:
You are analytical, adaptable, and execution focused. You know how to balance technical excellence with business priorities while keeping teams motivated and aligned.
