About the Studio
We’re an independent game studio building Bradley the Badger, a systems‑driven action‑adventure game. Our cross‑disciplinary team (design, art, animation, programming, audio) works in tight, iterative loops, combining rapid prototyping with milestone‑driven planning. We value ownership, clarity, and respectful candor: raise risks early, propose solutions, learn fast, and celebrate wins together.
Job Description
As an experienced Associate Producer, you will help drive day-to-day production across Bradley the Badger, supporting the team in turning creative goals into clear plans, actionable tasks, and reliable milestone delivery. You will work closely with directors, discipline leads, artists, designers, programmers, QA, and external collaborators to keep production moving with clarity, focus, and strong communication.
You will be embedded in the development team, helping coordinate priorities, track progress, surface risks early, and ensure that tasks, boards, documentation, reviews, and build-readiness processes remain accurate and useful. This role requires strong ownership, organization, and follow-through, as well as the ability to balance creative ambition, production constraints, and team wellbeing in a fast-moving indie development environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and track tasks, milestones, and deliverables across multiple disciplines, including art, design, programming, QA, audio, and production.
- Maintain project boards, task trackers, milestone plans, and production documentation, ensuring they remain clear, up to date, and trustworthy.
- Work closely with directors, discipline leads, and task owners to clarify priorities, scope, dependencies, and delivery expectations.
- Surface production risks early and help drive mitigation plans with clear owners, timelines, and follow-up actions.
- Facilitate meetings, reviews, playtests, and planning sessions, capturing decisions, action items, blockers, and next steps.
- Support build readiness ahead of key reviews and milestones, including checklists, go/no-go criteria, known issue tracking, and coordination with QA and development teams.
- Help coordinate bug triage, feedback review, and issue prioritization in collaboration with QA, design, programming, and production stakeholders.
- Monitor team workload, task progress, and milestone health, escalating concerns when priorities, scope, or resources need adjustment.
- Support resource planning, scheduling, and budget-awareness discussions by helping track needs, constraints, and production assumptions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of production workflows, communication practices, documentation, and planning rituals.
- Promote clear, respectful, and solution-oriented communication across creative and technical teams.
- Work with directors and production teams to estimate, prioritize, and deliver production goals on schedule.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Associate Producer, Production Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Live Ops Coordinator, or similar production role in the video game industry.
- Strong understanding of game development pipelines, terminology, dependencies, and milestone-driven production.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to turn ambiguity into clear plans, tasks, and follow-ups.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across creative, technical, and leadership teams.
- Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Miro, Confluence, Notion, Trello, ClickUp, Asana, or similar.
- Experience maintaining project boards, schedules, documentation, action items, risk logs, and milestone plans.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid production workflows in a game development environment.
- Understanding of build/release workflows, bug triage, QA coordination, and milestone-readiness processes.
- Working knowledge of scope management, resource planning, production dependencies, and budget-awareness.
- Ability to identify risks, blockers, and communication gaps early, and to follow through until they are resolved.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote environment.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Italian is preferred.
What we offer
- A fully remote work environment that promotes flexibility and work-life balance.
- Opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
- A collaborative and inclusive team culture that values creativity and innovation.
