As an Human Resources Global Operations, Southern Europe - Vice President at JPMorganChase within the Human Resources function, you will partner with regional leaders to deliver, transform, and govern Human Resources operational services across Southern Europe. You will lead service delivery optimization, automation, and continuous improvement while ensuring strong controls and compliance across designated markets. You will work closely with business stakeholders, specialist Human Resources teams, technology partners, and shared service teams across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Job responsibilities

Develop and execute the Southern Europe Human Resources operations strategy aligned to regional and global priorities

Govern end-to-end Human Resources service delivery across the employee lifecycle, including case management, benefits administration, leave management, payroll governance, vendor oversight, and records management

Lead transformation initiatives across automation, digital process redesign, employee self-service, and operating model improvements

Drive the adoption and optimization of service platforms (including ServiceNow) to improve employee experience and operational efficiency

Ensure compliance with local labor, payroll, privacy, regulatory, risk, audit, and control requirements across Southern Europe (including Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Malta, and other designated markets)

Partner with stakeholders across Human Resources, technology, finance, risk, legal, and compliance to deliver firmwide outcomes

Use operational metrics and insights to identify root causes, prioritize improvements, and strengthen service performance and controls

Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team, strengthening capability, inclusion, accountability, succession planning, and engagement

Manage delivery priorities across multiple markets, balancing transformation outcomes with stable day-to-day service delivery
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Bachelor's degree
-
Extensive experience in Human Resources operations, shared services, employee services, payroll, benefits, and/or Human Resources transformation in complex, multi-country environments

Relevant experience in people leadership, leading regional or global teams, including coaching, engagement, and succession planning

Strong knowledge of European employment, payroll, and privacy frameworks, and experience operating within controlled, regulated environments

Proven experience leading large-scale transformation, change delivery, digitalization, and operational efficiency initiatives

Demonstrated ability to design and govern operational processes with strong risk, control, and audit readiness

Strong executive communication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence across senior partner groups

Strong financial and operational management skills, including planning, prioritization, and delivery oversight

Fluent English and Italian proficiency

Experience in a multinational financial services organization or similarly regulated industry

Experience with ServiceNow and/or Oracle, shared services environments, Human Resources analytics, and artificial intelligence-enabled employee service platforms
