Project Engineer:
TXT e-Tech is looking for a dynamic Project Engineer, to be included in the Aerospace & Aviation division. The Project Engineer is part of the Flight Simulator and Ground Station technical team. The candidate will be responsible of the technical execution of the program and is the point of contact for any technical specification and pre-design technical documentation, answering Customers’ technical questions and providing technical assistance references.
Main responsibilities:
Evaluation of technical pre-design documentation and requirements;
Risk evaluation and mitigation for project critical aspects;
Interface with both Customer and technical team to manage and monitor tasks and targets;
Management and production of manuals and reports;
On site monitoring and management;
Identification and providing of parts and equipment;
Technical evaluation of Supplier offers and specifications;
Interface with Client and PM to keep project on track respect to time schedule, budget and quality.
Technical skills required:
Basic knowledge of software and hardware solutions related to product design and maintenance from a technical perspective;
Basic knowledge of project management procedures to assess the availability and costs of required activities;
Ability to assess risks and identify potential mitigation measures;
Ability to monitor system status for specific programs;
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office for the production of appropriate technical documentation
Optional technical skills:
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle;
Knowledge of processes related to industrial projects for identifying roles, activities, and procedures to ensure an adequate flow of information;
Knowledge of helicopter mechanical components, system architecture, and aeronautical expertise to work in the aviation field.
Education: Degree in Aerospace (preferred), Computer Science and Management Engineering (also welcomed).
The ideal candidate has excellent communication and presentation skills to liaise with internal and external Customers/Supplier, excellent team work skills and orientation towards the common goal.
The profile is completed by excellent knowledge of English, ability to manage time and monitor activities and deadlines, aptitude for listening, flexibility and willingness to travel abroad for monitoring and meetings.
The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 28.000 € and EUR 33.000 € gross per year.
The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry).
