Descrizione completa della posizione

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer with a strong full-stack background to join our team in Trieste. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our web platforms, from designing intuitive user interfaces to building robust server-side logic. You will work in a fast-paced environment as the primary point of contact for internal development requests, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our digital presence and internal tools are scalable, secure, and high-performing. Throughout your onboarding, you will be supported by our technical team to help you integrate into our workflow and become a key contributor.

This role begins as a fixed-term contract (6 months) with strong prospects for permanent hire. A valid Italian work permit is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain modern web platforms, websites, and back-office systems across both front-end and back-end technologies.
Collaborate across teams to refine requirements and deliver robust, scalable solutions
Write clean and efficient code following modern best practices and industry standards, adding automated tests when needed.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
Contribute to technical specifications, internal documentation, and the definition of coding standards.

Requirements:

BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
At least 3 years of full-stack development experience, specifically with PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
Full professional proficiency in English.
Technical Stack: Solid experience with WCM (WordPress, Drupal or similar) systems.
- Strong understanding of relational databases.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Tailwind.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authentication standards.
A positive, proactive attitude with a sharp attention to detail.
Must be authorized to work in Italy.

Preferential Requisites:

Experience with Docker or containerized development environments
Experience with front-end framework technologies (React.js, Vue.js or similar)
A good understanding of UX/UI principles to improve interface usability.
Knowledge of the Italian language or other additional languages.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
Knowledge of Linux server administration and web server configuration (Nginx, Apache).

Contractual Details

Location: Trieste (Area Science Park Padriciano) – preferably on-site, with hybrid or remote options available within Italy.
Contract type: Fixed-Term (6 months) with strong prospects for permanent hire Full-Time.
Collective Agreement: CCNL Metalmeccanica Industria.
Salary Range (RAL): € 32,000 - € 42,000 GROSS/year (commensurate with skills and experience).
