About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the high-precision assembly of advanced automated filling machines, with a specific focus on the aerosol and broader packaging industry. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the synergy between mechanical systems and automation. You will work on complex, high-technology machinery, ensuring every component is assembled to exact specifications. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the high performance and reliability standards that our clients expect from our packaging solutions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Precision Assembly: Execute the complete assembly of automated filling machines, ensuring all mechanical parts and sub-assemblies are installed according to engineering specifications. -Technical Interpretation: Read, interpret, and analyze complex technical drawings, including detailed kinematics and assembly schematics. -Mechanical Refinement: Perform delicate assembly tasks requiring strict adherence to tight tolerances. This includes the precise mounting of seals, bearings, and precision-engineered components. -Kinematic Expertise: Utilize an advanced understanding of kinematics to assemble and adjust machine movements, ensuring optimal performance and fluid operation. -Automation Integration: Work in tandem with the electrical team to integrate pneumatic and sensor-based automation systems into the mechanical framework. -Troubleshooting & Quality Control: Identify mechanical fitment issues during the assembly phase. Propose and implement necessary mechanical adjustments or minor machining interventions to ensure perfect alignment and functionality. -Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to the engineering department regarding assembly challenges and suggest design or process optimizations to improve machine efficiency. Key Information: • Location: The working site will be near Bologna. • Reporting: This position reports to the Assembling Supervisor. • Travel: There should be no restrictions to travel. • Collaboration: Works in close collaboration with Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Project Management teams.
What You Need to Be Successful
-10 years of proven professional experience in the assembly of high-technology industrial machinery, preferably within the packaging or aerosol filling industry. -Education/Background: Technical Diploma (Perito Meccanico/Meccatronico) or equivalent vocational training. Strong preference for candidates who have matured their skills through long-term field experience in high-precision mechanical workshops. -Technical Proficiency: Blueprinting & Schematics: Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical, P&id, pneumatic, and assembly drawings without hesitation. Strong background in mechanical assembly, including experience with precision tolerances and high-pressure sealing systems. Solid understanding of industrial automation, including the mechanical logic behind sensors, actuators, and motion control. - Ability to perform on-site adjustments, including manual machining/finishing tasks if a part requires a "fit-to-size" correction. -A meticulous, analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex mechanical problems under pressure. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards. - Proficiency in English (at least technical terminology).
Our Offer
Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 39.000€ , in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role. A range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy. The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.
