YOUR ROLE
You will be part of the Central Construction team, a worldwide team dedicated to the design and construction of the new infrastructure and facilities necessary for the manufacturing. You will join the team dedicated to the Agrate site, following all the phases of the new projects, from conceptual design to detailed design, construction, start-up and commissioning of the new facilities.
You will be part of the Electrical team managing systems like: transformers, switchboards, MV installations, busbars, cable tray, MCC, VFD, static and rotary UPS. After a first period of training, as Electrical specialist you will be in charge of following the activities of the packages related to the discipline ensuring to keep them aligned with time, quality and budget defined. You will be asked to collaborate with the team members and to ensure an efficient sharing of the information among the people of the team and with the other people of the Construction group. You will work to define the new projects needs according to the production tools requirements and, working with the other disciplines involved in the team, to provide all the information necessary to the possible Contractors to fulfill their scope. Your role of Electrical specialist, includes the following main activities:
- Define the basic design related to Electrical disciplines for new projects, supported by team leader
- Prepare the specifications for the process Electrical discipline
- Validate the technical documentation and quotation provided by the Contractors
- Check and ensure that the installation activities, carried out by contractor personnel, are compliant with specifications, safety and environmental rules and any applicable STMicroelectronics standard and good practices
- Ensure the on-time execution of Electrical installation, with follow-up of works, highlighting any deviation versus the specifications and/or schedule
- Participate to periodic meetings and be constantly updated about Electrical activities progress with suppliers and STMicroelectronics team
- Ensure the collection of final documentation related to the Electrical disciplines
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Candidates that best fit this role should have/be:
- (minimum) Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other technically equivalent degree
- (preferred) master degree in electrical engineering or other technically equivalent degree
- (preferred) experience or knowledge of Electrical systems industrial application, better for microelectronics or pharmaceutical production sites
- (minimum) able to read and understand electrical and instrumental schematics
- (preferred) knowledge of Autocad and 3D modeling softwares (i.e. Revit, Navisworks,…)
- (preferred) knowledge of Ampere or other similar software
- Good analysis, problem solving, synthesis and reporting capabilities
- Good teamwork ability
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Good knowledge of English language both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of Italian language both written and spoken
