At Syensqo, the Digital & Growth Innovation team empowers our people and drives value across the company. As an IT Laboratory Support Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting Research & Innovation (R&I) by managing essential scientific applications (especially Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) and OpenLab). You could also be asked to manage other R&I applications and act as a service owner for these solutions. These solutions help our researchers capture, organize, and share their data efficiently and securely.

Working closely with end-users and the service owner, you’ll ensure our digital solutions meet their needs, perform optimally, and remain compliant. By providing excellent support and continuously improving our tools, you’ll help our scientific teams innovate and achieve their goals.

Hard skills

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

Good knowledge of ELN (Revvity), Lab applications like Agilent OpenLab is a plus
-
Understanding of laboratory processes and scientific data management

Deep knowledge of applications IT components

Workstations & Identity management tools (Active Directory, Intune, …)

Knowledge of IT technologies, Network, Hosting landscapes, Cybersecurity, Databases

Experience with incident and request management using a ticketing tool (BMC Helix preferable)

Monitoring software updates and managing changes

Fluency in English

You will get:

The Italian annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: € 46,300 to € 66,400. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range. Total compensation for this role also include bonus and/or other incentives
