The Regional Logistics Leader. EMEA is responsible for inbound and outbound transportation execution across the assigned EMEA region, ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective logistics performance across all applicable transport modes. This role works closely with network schedulers, planners, plants, logistics procurement, finance, engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to support supply continuity, customer delivery performance, freight efficiency, and operational responsiveness.
Reporting to the Mobility, Global Logistics Manager, this position serves as the primary regional logistics execution lead for EMEA. The role is an individual contributor position with strong matrix leadership responsibilities and close partnership with the global logistics center of excellence, logistics/indirect procurement and regional stakeholders. The position supports freight performance, continuous improvement, regional risk management, freight audit and pay processes, exception resolution, dispute management, and logistics procurement activities within the region.
- Lead inbound and outbound transportation execution across the EMEA region across all relevant modes.
- Coordinate with network schedulers, planners, plant teams, and supply chain stakeholders and customs trade management to align logistics execution with operational demand and customer requirements.
- Drive regional freight performance through service management, cost control, carrier coordination, and issue resolution.
- Deliver and report on continuous improvement and cost-out initiatives to improve transportation efficiency, process consistency, and overall logistics performance.
- Manage regional logistics risks, including disruption escalation, recovery support, and contingency coordination, and support trade compliance activities
- Own exception management and support resolution of shipment issues, service failures, claims, and operational disputes.
- Coordinate freight audit and pay issue resolution and reporting in partnership with finance and support teams.
- Support logistics procurement activities in the region by providing operational input, supplier performance feedback, and implementation support.
- Maintain regional logistics reporting cadence aligned with finance and business performance review requirements.
- Support improvement of distribution flows, transportation processes, and logistics tools in alignment with global standards.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, GTM, engineering, quality, and commercial teams where logistics performance affects business results.
