We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Front Office Agent to join our team at the brand-new Hampton by Hilton Venice Isola Nuova.
Position Overview:
As a Front Office Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in ensuring their stay is enjoyable and comfortable. You will handle check-ins and check-outs, manage reservations, and provide information about the hotel and local area. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests in person and over the phone.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using the hotel’s property management system.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Address guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed, including billing and cash handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or related field education is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front office or customer service role, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer skills and experience with property management systems (PMS) is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
- Good communication skills in Italian and English, other languages is a plus
