The Mission: A Digital World Without Barriers
At Accessiway, we aren’t just a SaaS company; we are a scale-up growing at supersonic speed with one ambitious goal: to make technology accessible to everyone, no ifs or buts. We believe that accessibility isn’t a checkbox: it’s how people experience the world.
As our Fullstack Developer, you won’t just write code, your work won't end up in a virtual drawer. You will build the future of digital accessibility, designing high-performing, elegant, and inclusive digital products that simplify and elevate the web experience for millions of users across the globe.
Real-World Impact: Your code directly transforms how people interact with technology, helping ensure products are usable and accessible to over 1.3 billion people worldwide.
A Rocking Team: Collaborate with passionate developers, designers, and product managers who value excellence, curiosity, and tackling complex engineering challenges together.
Autonomy & Trust: Want to experiment, innovate, or pivot strategies on the fly? Here, you can! Your ideas matter, and you’ll have the space, trust, and freedom to bring them to life.
Radical Inclusivity: We are an open, diverse, international team. We’re also pet-friendly so, yes, your dog is welcome in the office!
Work Life-Balance: Enjoy a hybrid work model that respects your personal life, focus time, and professional productivity.
Breakfast, Fresh Fruit & Competitive Pay: If you come to our office in Turin, we’ve got breakfast and fresh fruit to kickstart your day right (and coffee? It's always flowing!). Plus, we offer customized compensation that recognizes your experience, skill set, and drive to grow.
Taking full ownership of your role, you will participate in the end-to-end design and delivery of high-quality services, focusing on:
Frontend Craftsmanship: Translating mockups into polished, high-performing, and fully accessible interfaces using React, TypeScript, Hooks, TanStack Query, Tailwind CSS, and Zod, backed by reliable tests with Vitest and Playwright.
Backend Engineering: Building and maintaining Lambda functions, ECS services, and REST APIs behind API Gateway. Managing asynchronous workflows with SNS/SQS and navigating smoothly between Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
Performance & Operational Quality: Applying engineering best practices, participating in code reviews, monitoring errors via Sentry, and building robust code that holds up under heavy traffic.
Continuous R&D: Experimenting with emerging technologies, bringing fresh innovation to the engineering team, and constantly elevating our technical stack.
3+ years of fullstack experience with a solid grasp of both frontend and backend development.
Fluent TypeScript (client & server-side): Clean types, maintainable architecture, and zero random anys scattered around.
AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience with core cloud services (Lambda, SQS/SNS, ECS, API Gateway, RDS/DynamoDB).
Solid Database Foundations: Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization.
Eye for Detail & Quality: A drive for polished UIs, optimized backend queries, and test coverage for the edge cases that actually matter.
Ownership Mindset: Proactive attitude to catch problems before they turn into fires, get things done, and take pride in what you ship.
Extra Bonus Points if:
You have Python in your technical arsenal.
You are curious about cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CDK in TypeScript).
You have experience with Firebase (Authentication, Remote Config).
You have hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools (such as Lighthouse or Axe).
