As Lead Supplier Quality Engineer Casting you will ensure deliveries consistently meet all customers’ quality and regulatory requirements and lead preventive enhancement initiatives to supplier manufacturing processes; actively participate in sourcing and industrialization processes to achieve the target of zero Customer Defects; lead with sourcing and product engineering preventive assessment of design to manufacturing; ensure that quality is consistently flexible and able to react to changing demands.
Essential Responsibilities
Supplier Development
Provide engineering support to supplier manufacturing process ensuring consistent application of quality techniques to resolve quality issues of capability, tolerancing and materials by leading the implementation of action plans and providing resources.
Close integrated collaboration with sourcing department to assist supplier development strategy.
Close integrated collaboration with Engineering department to assist supplier in the industrialization phase ensuring the capability and control of their production processes.
Lead supplier eligibility assessment, readiness review and surveillance audits.
Lead APQP ensuring that PPAP is approved on-site when it is required.
Lead suppliers launch and ramp up by ensuring early containment actions apply.
Daily Metric Management
Non-Conformity Events
Lead all the related stakeholders all problem-solving events to contain internal scraps and supplier escapes, find root cause and corrective action, make the risk assessment and standardize through Lesson Learnt/FMEA.
Continuous Improvement
Lead risk assessment (e.g. PFMEA, PQA, etc) to ensure compliance to product/process/system quality requirements.
Determine improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to sustain manufacturing processes to adhere to standard requirements and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity related to product, process or system.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in engineering or science.
Proven track record of minimum 3 year-experience in driving quality assurance and control in Casting Foundries, or proven experience in SQ for casting suppliers .
Strong Knowledge of GD&T, and basic knowledge in special processes HT and NDT, FPI, MPI and Xray inspection.
Strong knowledge of MSA is mandatory.

Salary range for this role: 47,250.00 - 63,000.00 EUR Annual + Performance-related bonus + PDR up to 6000 euro
Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
