RINA is currently recruiting for a Technology Innovation & Strategy Junior Consultant to join its office in Rome, Genoa, La Spezia or Rozzano within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.
This role is designed to provide a junior management consultant with a well-rounded experience in the various aspects of management consulting, setting the foundation for career growth and increased responsibilities in the field. It involves a mix of learning, collaboration, and hands-on involvement in projects under the guidance of more experienced consultants.
1. Learning and Development:
- Actively participate in training programs to build a foundational understanding of management consulting principles and methodologies.
- Acquire knowledge about process improvement, technology trends, environmental sustainability, and business model analysis.
2. Data Collection and Analysis:
- Assist in gathering and analyzing data related to current business processes, technology landscapes, environmental impact, and business models.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations based on data analysis.
3. Process Mapping and Documentation:
- Support the senior consultants in documenting existing business processes through process mapping techniques.
- Assist in creating documentation that outlines areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
4. Technology Research and Evaluation:
- Participate in researching emerging technologies relevant to the industry.
- Support the evaluation of technology solutions for their potential impact on business effectiveness.
5. Environmental Impact Assessment:
- Assist in conducting assessments to measure carbon emissions and environmental footprint.
- Contribute to the development of strategies for emission reduction and sustainability.
6. Business Model Analysis:
- Participate in the analysis of current business models, identifying strengths and weaknesses.
- Support the development of recommendations for improving business models.
7. Client Interaction and Support:
- Collaborate with team members in engaging with clients to understand their needs and challenges.
- Provide support in communicating project updates and findings to clients.
8. Project Coordination:
- Assist in the coordination of project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
- Learn project management skills and contribute to project planning and execution.
9. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior consultants and other team members to contribute to the overall success of projects.
- Actively participate in team meetings and discussions.
10. Continuous Improvement:
- Actively seek feedback from senior consultants and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance consulting skills.
11. Documentation and Reporting:
- Contribute to the preparation of client-facing reports and presentations.
- Ensure accurate and organized documentation of project activities and outcomes.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General
- Previous internship or academic project experience in consulting, business analysis, process improvement, or related areas is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and ability to interpret business data.
- Familiarity with process mapping techniques (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts) and documentation.
- Understanding of emerging technologies and their business applications.
- Awareness of sustainability concepts, carbon footprint assessment, and environmental impact analysis is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is an advantage.

The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480).
The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €31000 and €38000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
