Future Cruise Consultant - Onboard Our Ships:
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will be responsible for promoting and selling future cruises on board, achieving the sales targets set in terms of total guests and net revenues while delivering an inspiring guest experience.
Sell and promote future cruises at the onboard sales desk, using in-house sales tools and applying the sales channel rules. Own sales targets, delivering total guest and net revenue goals month after month.
Lead presentations on future cruises, destinations and products to spark guests’ interest and drive sales.
Craft and deliver welcome letters, event invitations and virtual messages that promote sales and special offers.
Join onboard events and selected excursions, agreed with the Senior Future Cruise Consultant, to connect with guests and open new sales opportunities. Report regularly to the Senior Future Cruise Consultant, Tour Manager, Hotel Director and the Corporate Onboard Cruise Sales Department ashore, and join periodical sales-update calls.
Keep the Senior Future Cruise Consultant updated on sales materials, request restocks when needed, and raise any issue before escalating ashore.
Support in building a strong safety culture, promoting health and safety procedures, and upholding high health standards on board.
WHO YOU ARE
You bring a strong sales mindset and a genuine passion for travel, thriving in an international, fast-paced environment where communication and a results-driven attitude make the difference.
Required
Upper secondary school diploma (a Travel Agent Diploma is highly appreciated)
Proven experience in sales and storytelling, ideally in a guest-facing environment
Excellent command of Italian (C2) and English (C1)
A third language at minimum B1 level (French, German, Spanish)
Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Strong communication, problem-solving and customer-service skills, with a results-driven, positive attitude
Nice to have
Previous experience in cruise, travel or hospitality sales
Experience in multicultural or international environments
