We are looking for a motivated and organized Radio Operations Assistant to support our daily tour operations at the Colosseum. This is an exciting opportunity to work behind the scenes of one of Rome's leading tourism companies while helping thousands of visitors enjoy a seamless experience at one of the world's most iconic landmarks.
What You'll Do
As a Radio Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our tours run smoothly and efficiently throughout the day.
Frontline Operations:
- Check in guests arriving for Colosseum tours
- Welcome and assist international visitors
- Support tour guides with operational needs throughout the day
- Troubleshoot radio and audio equipment issues
- Resolve ticketing and communication challenges quickly and professionally
- Provide on-site assistance to guides within the archaeological area
Back Office & Equipment Management:
- Prepare and pack radio equipment bags daily
- Unpack, organize, and recharge equipment after tours
- Create and manage daily radio allocation plans
- Maintain accurate inventory and equipment counts
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of radios and headsets
- Ensure all equipment is operational and ready for daily use
